We are a community of veterinary professionals who are committed to improving equine medicine in Northern California.

The History of NCAEP

The NCAEP was founded based on a veterinarian’s vision for community in its truest form. Northern California has a special group of diverse equine veterinarians, equine patients, and challenges the equine community faces.  There was a great need to have an organization that not just brings the equine veterinary community together in the good times but, more importantly, so we can work together in times of crisis and emergency.  By meeting face to face every quarter for Continuing Education (CE), it facilitates our members to build strong professional and personal relationships and educational strength.  When disaster hits, like the devastating wildfires, the foundation has already been established for the equine veterinary community of Northern California to work as a team and face any challenge together.
